Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Le Codex (the "Service") is provided by Atelier de Maths LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (filing number 2026-002090203), 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. It trades as Atelier de Maths. "We" means Atelier de Maths LLC, the party you contract with. These terms, the Privacy Policy and any consent recorded at sign-up form the agreement between us. By creating an account you accept them.

2. Who can use it

• You must be 13 or older.
• If you are under 16, a parent or guardian must give permission before your account is used, and we record their email address with that permission.
• One account is for one student.
• Keep your password safe, and tell us at support@atelierdemaths.com if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Free access and the founding offer

• If you create your account on or before 31 December 2026, Le Codex is free for you until 31 May 2027, through the May 2027 exams.
• Accounts created later are free while the beta runs.
• We take no card details and will never charge you without your separate, explicit agreement.
• If anything about access changes, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance.
• Free access we've already promised is always honoured.

4. Paid plans (not yet available)

We have no paid plans today. If we introduce them:

• prices and terms will be shown plainly before any purchase;
• purchases will be handled by Paddle, as reseller and merchant of record;
• for students under 18, a parent or guardian will make the purchase;
• paid plans will come with a 14-day refund, no questions asked;
• your local consumer rights will always apply in addition.

5. Using Le Codex fairly

Use it for your own study. Please don't:

• share or sell your account;
• copy, scrape or republish our questions or solutions;
• try to extract answer keys or get around how the Service works;
• attack or disrupt the Service;
• misstate your age or identity.

6. Our content and yours

The questions, solutions, diagnostics, software and design belong to Atelier de Maths LLC (or its licensors) and are licensed to you for personal study only. Your answers and progress remain yours: you give us only the permission needed to run the Service for you. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Baccalaureate Organization. "IB" and related names belong to it, and we use them only to describe the exams we help you prepare for. All our content is original.

7. Estimates, not guarantees

Mastery, readiness and grade estimates are honest approximations from the questions you've answered. They're not predictions of any official result, and we don't promise any grade.

8. Availability

The Service is in beta. We work to keep it available and correct, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or remove features, with notice where practical.

9. Ending your account

• You can delete your account at any time in settings; deletion is real and permanent.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or others at risk, with notice where practical.
• If a parent or guardian of a student under 16 declines or withdraws consent, we close the account and delete its data.

10. Liability

The Service is provided free and "as is", as far as the law allows. We don't exclude liability that can't lawfully be excluded, including your mandatory consumer rights. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the previous 12 months (currently nothing), and we're not liable for indirect losses.

11. Changes to these terms

We'll update the version and date. For important changes we'll ask you (and, for under-16s, your parent or guardian) to accept again.

12. Law and disputes

Wherever you live, you keep the protection of your country's mandatory consumer and data-protection laws, and your right to bring a claim in your own courts where those laws allow.
